Blueair unveils clean air intelligence at Dwell on Design Show LA for optimal indoor air
Blueair, a world leader in indoor air cleaning technologies for enhanced health at home, work and leisure, revealed the new IoT face of cleaner, healthier indoor air at the prestigious Dwell on Design event in Los Angeles, California, running May 29 – 31. Dwell on Design Los Angeles, curated by the editors of Dwell magazine, gives visitors three full days of dynamic exhibitions, cutting-edge technologies, and more than 2,000 innovative modern products, including the world’s most intelligent clean air system from Blueair.
Allowing users to wirelessly measure, monitor and control their indoor air quality, the Blueair Aware™ air quality sensor recognizes your specific pollution patterns to give you current indoor air quality data in real time, alerting and notifying you and your family based on your specific needs. Both the Blueair Aware™ sensor and Wi-Fi enabled Sense+ intelligent air purifier are designed to work with the Blueair app, which provides continuous clean air control.
Visitors to the Blueair Booth (#807) at Dwell on Design LA, America’s largest design event, were given the opportunity to see how Blueair has moved indoor air technology into the ‘Internet of Things’ realm to deliver a tangible benefit to consumers.
“Blueair’s Aware™ sensor is designed to detect hundreds of different types of airborne particles from PM2.5 dust to VOC’s such as formaldehyde and benzene in the air in your home or workplace.,” said Herman Pihlträd, President, Blueair Inc. “Designed to give people the chance to prevent flu or allergy-like symptoms common to poor indoor quality to develop, Blueair Aware™ also monitors room humidity and temperature.”
Blueair's clean air intelligence technology was spurred by the insight that few people living in urban environments – where they on average spend up to 90 percent of their time indoors – get a chance to breathe good, clean air every day.
“Until now, people could not know exactly what was in their indoor air. But thanks to the Blueair Aware™ sensor and the Blueair mobile app they can now actually ‘see’ what’s causing them to sleep badly or feel unwell, enabling them to do something about it by turning up their air purifiers to trap the pollution, just as we vacuum dust from the floor,” Mr. Pihlträd said.
Sold in over 50 countries around the world, Blueair delivers home and office users more clean indoor air for enhanced user health and wellbeing faster than any competing air purifier thanks to its commitment to quality, energy efficiency and environmental care. A Blueair air purifier works efficiently, silently to remove 99.97% of allergens, asthma triggers, viruses, bacteria and other airborne pollutants.
