A 6-month study across nursery schools in London, commissioned by the London Mayor, released today show that Blueair air purifiers have demonstrated a “positive impact on the nursery indoor air quality reducing PM2.5 and in some cases NO2”. London Mayor also called on the British government to urgently bring in industry performance and design standards for air filtration systems.
Blueair has called on major cities worldwide to follow a new initiative by London to warn Londoners about air pollution in real time and advise people how to protect their health during peak bad air alerts. The toxic air alert program kicks off August 15 with electronic update signs at all 270 London Underground stations and 2,500 bus countdown signs and river pier signs across London.
